Privacy Policy

This site is run by one person — Zubair MZ — as a portfolio and a way for prospective clients to get in touch. It collects as little as possible: there is no analytics package, no advertising network, no tracking pixel, and no third-party script following you between pages.

What is collected

The contact form. If you submit it, the fields you filled in are sent to me by email: the project area and goal you selected, your name, your email address, your company name if you gave one, and your message. Nothing else is attached to it.

Nothing automatic. Browsing the site does not create a record. There is no cookie banner here because the site sets no tracking cookies to consent to.

What is stored in your browser

One item: your light or dark theme preference, saved in your browser's local storage so the site does not flash the wrong theme on your next visit. It never leaves your device and I cannot read it. Clearing your site data removes it.

Who else handles your data

Resend delivers contact-form submissions to my inbox. Your submission passes through their systems in order to be sent.

The hosting provider serves the pages and, like any web server, keeps short-lived operational logs that may include IP addresses. These are infrastructure logs, not something I collect or analyse.

Why, and on what basis

Your contact details are used for exactly one purpose: to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to run that project. They are never sold, rented, or added to a marketing list. You will not receive a newsletter because there isn't one.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within 12 months. Correspondence tied to a project I have delivered is kept for as long as I need it for tax and contractual records, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email contact@zubairmz.com and I will action it within 30 days. There is no form to fill in and no account to log into. If you are in the UK or EU and you are not satisfied with how I have handled a request, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Links out

This site links to external profiles and to client projects. Once you follow one of those links you are on somebody else's site, under their privacy policy, not this one.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. There is no mailing list to notify, so the date is the record.
