Sober Society — Recovery & Sobriety Social App
A sobriety tracker and peer community for people in recovery — streaks and milestones alongside a social feed, accountability partners, and coping toolkits.
The problem
Sobriety trackers count days but connect you to nobody, and the hard moments happen between check-ins.
The hard part
A private tracker and a public social graph in one app with opposite privacy defaults: streaks, money and drinks saved stay personal, while posts, follows, blocking and DMs are social. The free tier is funded by rewarded ads rather than a paywall, so the people least able to pay keep the tracker.
Outcome
Live on the App Store and Google Play. Second product for a client who has commissioned eight projects.
